Who We Are
Our Indivisible Group (Resistance Action East Bay) successfully leveraged outreach at farmers markets and transit stops where we handed out tens of thousands of flyers offering patrons a 2-minute ask either to turn out the vote or resist. Along the way, we raised considerable funds, activated thousands of volunteers, and recruited volunteers. We consistently found that patrons enthusiastically thank us and appreciate the “direction” we offer and the ease to accomplish it.
Parties for Democracy grew from the efforts of a group of Resisters called Resistance Action East Bay (RAEB), who gathered information on a number of organizations dedicated to Progressive causes and committed to electing Progressive candidates in local, regional, and national elections. When the Pandemic hit, we devised a toolkit for hosting virtual fundraising parties to support those organizations and candidates – and a concept was born.
